Every year Amazon runs their Prime Day event. It’s a chance for everyone, business owners included, to take advantage of some wonderful deals on the Amazon website.
So, when is Prime Day, and how can your business benefit from it?
The two day event normally happens in July, however it was announced that due to coronavirus, Prime Day would be held a little later this year…
When Is Prime Day?
The global two day event will start very soon!
It begins on Tuesday 13th October and will run until midnight on Wednesday 14th October, with big savings across their website for Amazon Prime members only.
That’s the only catch to the event… you must be signed up to Amazon prime, which is their monthly subscription.
This subscription includes free next day delivery, a bunch of movies and video series through Prime video, and 2million+ songs on Amazon Music.
However, if you’re not a Prime member, then you can sign up for a 30-day free trial right now, which will get you in on the action at absolutely not cost.
Helping Out Small Businesses
Amazon have many small businesses who sell through their site, and they understand it’s been a tough year for them:
“After a tough six months for everyone, we’re committed to making this the most successful Prime Day ever for small businesses, and excited for members to discover the very best from artisans and entrepreneurs in the UK, whilst saving big on everything they need and love from the comfort of their homes.”
This public acknowledgment in the run up to the Prime Day event shows the direction they want to take this year: benefit small businesses!
That’s why Amazon have invested £75million into promoting small businesses on their site, including a Spend £10, Get £10 deal that is live right now.
This Prime Day offer won’t just help the small, independent, sellers on their website, but also many business owners who want to grab a deal or two for their business.
