Xero’s triumphant rise in the UK looks set to continue as they have announced that they will open their third UK office.
The cloud accounting software, that originated in New Zealand, has been taking the UK by storm with businesses switching to the software for its innovative and exciting way of simplifying the financials and presenting the numbers in a beautiful way.
The surge of users has only increased this year due to the introduction of Making Tax Digital; a legislation that requires businesses to submit their information to HMRC through approved software like Xero.
Where Will The New Xero Office Be Based?
Xero opened their first UK office in 2014 in Milton Keynes. A year later they opened their London office and, since then, have continued to grow across the country.
Northern businesses and accountants have begun to make the switch to Xero and, despite the good rail connectivity to London and Milton Keynes, they have decided that it was time to open an exciting new office in the north…
The location: Manchester!
Their office will be based in SPACES Peter House, which is in a great central location.
The office will be a short 6 minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road train station and 15 minutes from Piccadilly.
This Is Great News For The North
Gary Turner, co-founder and managing director of Xero UK, said:
“With the growth we’re experiencing in the UK, a new office opening is the logical step to ensure we are best placed to serve our small business customers and accounting and bookkeeping partners.”
We believe that the opening of the new Manchester office is great news for business owners and accountants in the north. The new Xero HQ will act as a hub to help users get the most out of the software.
Xero know their software inside and out, and are always happy to welcome users into their office to explain how things work, whilst offering support to meet different needs.
As Xero users ourselves we are welcoming this big move up north for Xero.
Having offices in both Liverpool and Sheffield means that visiting the Xero Headquarters will be easy for both.
It will allow us to strengthen our relationship with Xero and deepen our understanding on how they plan to keep making a difference to our clients across the country.
The Xero Manchester office will open in November, and create 40 new jobs within the first few months.
