Xero have made some exciting changes to their Starter Plan.
At a time where ‘giving more’ seems like a risky approach, Xero have made the bold decision to improve their starter plan at no additional cost to users.
We’ll detail the two big changes below.
Xero’s Starter Plan
The Starter Plan is Xero’s package that is best suited for smaller businesses. It is the cheapest of their offerings, and therefore limits the amount of invoices and bills that a user can submit and send.
However, many small businesses explained that these limits were too low, even for some of the smallest businesses using the software.
In an effort to provide more flexibility, Xero have lifted some of these limits on invoices and bills in their Starter plan with the changes effective immediately.
So what’s changed?
A user on the Xero Starter Plan would normally be limited to 20 bank reconciliations per month.
However, Xero has decided to completely lift this limit, and scrap it all together.
This means that for no extra cost, users on the Starter Plan now have unlimited bank reconciliations every month.
Xero users can send invoices from within the software to any of their clients.
The Starter Plan previously had a limit of 5 invoices per month, which users felt was too little. This equates to roughly 1 invoice per week.
So, Xero listened again and have decided to increase the amount of invoices that users on their Starter Plan can send each month.
This limit has been increased to 20 invoices per month, which will roughly allow for one invoice to be sent each business day of the month.
Are There More Changes To The Xero Plans?
All of the other starter plan features and limitations will remain in place, and the changes above are effective immediately.
We’ve not received any news that Xero are planning to make changes to their other two tiers.
The Standard Plan (Xero’s mid-tier plan) lifts all of the restrictions that are in place on the Starter Plan. It proves to be a great option for fully fledged businesses that are expanding.
The Premium Plan is Xero’s highest tier and includes all of the benefits featured in the Standard plan. The added bonus is that it also allows users to handle multiple currencies, and is best suited for businesses that work on a global scale.
